TVUSD: Middle Schools

Middle Schools in Temecula Valley

As true of most districts, the middle schools of TVUSD aren't exceedingly different. That being said there are some differences worth noting between each of them. All of these public schools are traditional in the sense that they offer school to students ranging from 6-8th grade. Below you'll find unofficial descriptions of some of the facts that make each of these schools great.

Bella Vista Middle School

The Silver Hawks are located in the North Western part of the Temecula Valley School District off of Browning Street. The school offers a variety of clubs on campus to help students get involved and to learn more about a variety of topics.

Some of the clubs are similar to departments at other schools, such as drama, yearbook or band. While they also offer very specific clubs like Game Cube club and Photography. Beyond that there are also some athletic clubs on campus, such as Cross Country and Intramural Soccer.

The arguably most interesting thing on campus can be found under the "Explore" tab on their website. The school offers classes/groups or resources for the students such as the "Peer Buddy" program or even the Science Investigations class. For more information about specific departments and elective-esque groups on campus click here.

Students who find themselves at Bella Vista will undoubtebly quickly find their niche and be able to express themselves thoroughly on campus. For more information click here.

Majority of the facilities are standard for Middle Schools in the Temecula area, but that's not to say DMS doesn't have anything special. With it's devoted staff and in depth music programs/clubs this school is a wonderful place for any student to fit in while standing out. For more information on the school click here.

Gardner Middle School

The Grizzlies are located in the southern section of Temecula off of Via Del Coronado road. The school is relatively new, as it was opened in 2014. Gardner features many qualities worth noting, but the most substantial is their elective system.

The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities. Some standard, such as Drama or Band, but they also offer a STEAM class as well as specific computer classes. For a complete list click here.

Since the school is new, there is either no real foundation of clubs or they're simply not presented on the website, aside from the FOR club. The FOR club stands to make a difference in the world by following the ideas of the late Rachel Scott. They believe making a difference starts with the individual, and that with every good deed there is a chain reaction, meaning something little can go a long way.

Gardner is a new school with a lot of promise. Attending this school is a sure enough path to provide a student with the means to carve a legacy into a school whose traditions are still being formed. If you'd like to learn more, click here.

 Temecula Middle School

The Bobcats have the largest boundary area out of any TVUSD Middle School, covering most of central and eastern temecula. They are located off of Meadows Parkway and are a tradition school. Majority of their programs are similar to the other middle schools in the district, however TMS has some outlying clubs and organizations.

Their most notable organizations are the Astronomy Club, Pillowcase Pals, and Bobcat Ambassadors. Astronomy club meets in the evening to study stars, pillowcase pals creates pillowcases for ailing youth, and ambassadors act as responsible students who are trained to counsel and meet with other students! These programs are available for any Bobcat, but ambassadors will need to be trained.

TMS also offers sports, such as Basketball, Baseball, and Soccer. Any student attending the school can easily find themselves contributing and would be a welcome addition to the Bobcat pack. For more information click here.
